We're helping an environmental charity save the planet!

Our entry to the DesignIT Competition, sponsored by Microsoft and Computing magazine, is through to the final! The design is for a "carbon calculator" tool to support the charity Global Action Plan in helping people reduce their impact on the environment. The design uses the latest technology to give householders a tool they can run on their computers in a similar way to anti-virus software, except that this will monitor and give advice on their carbon footprint. The winner is being chosen from the five finalists by a public vote, which is now closed.

The design, along with the other finalists, is also being interpreted as artwork by students at Slade Art School to be displayed in an exhibition at the prestigious Gallery 27, Cork Street, London; 29 May to 2 June 2007.
